The purpose of the WWSWd Logo Program is to make Scouting units, organizations and individuals aware that there is a place the disAbled in the Scouting program. There is no charge for enrollment in the logo program. All we ask is that to adhere to the guidelines listed below so that we can maintain the integrity of the program. This page describes how you can enroll and show your support of Working With Scouts With disAbilities. 

Enroll in the WWSWd Logo Program immediately  by agreeing to the following. Any usage outside of these guidelines dilutes the effectiveness of the Logo and makes it more difficult to defend our rights. WWSWd reserves the right to change or modify the Logo and/or these Guidelines at any time at its discretion. Members will be notified in advance of any change to the Guidelines.

  • The WWSWd Website Promotion Team will provide you with electronic artwork of the Logo. You may not alter this artwork in any way.
  • This Logo is provided only as a graphical representation to promote the WWSWd Website and, and is not in any way an indication of WWSWd sponsorship or endorsement of the content of the site it appears on.
  • The Logo is provided for Website usage only, and may not be used in any other fashion unless specified herein.
  • The Logo is provided for local use only. You may not link directly to the WWSWd logo on it's Website.

Organization name:  If the Organization name is used in the document text, it should appear as Working With Scouts With disAbilities (WWSWd) at the first and most prominent use in all materials and can thereafter be referred to as WWSWd.

Intent: You are permitted to use the Logo in conjunction with the website URL to promote the usage of the WWSWd website. Other usage of the Logo in any materials, including advertising, product packaging, and promotional materials requires the written permission of WWSWd. The Logo must not be used in a way that implies WWSWd's sponsorship or endorsement of any product or service.

When used on your Website, the WWSWd Logo can be accompanied by the following text, as indicated below:

Scouting unit (council, district, troop, etc) is a supporter of WWSWd.
This company, organization, author <business name>
is a supporter of WWSWd.
We are a supporter of WWSWd.

Northridge District, Detroit Area Council, Boy Scouts of America
is a supporter of WWSWd.

Working With Scouts With disAbilities logo for use with the Logo Program.The Logo must always use the following link and supporting ALT text:

You may include a BORDER="0" (or another number) attribute if you wish.

In all cases, the Logo must be an active link to the WWSWd Website at:


Prominence: Do not use the Logo or the names Working With Scouts With disAbilities or WWSWd more prominently than your personal name, company, product, or Website name.

Artwork: Use only WWSWd authorized electronic artwork of the Logo. The WWSWd icon is to be displayed as an independent Logo, and not conjoined with any other graphic or text in such a way as to imply WWSWd endorsement or sponsorship. The Logo may not be used as a feature or design element of any other Logo. You may not alter this artwork in any way.

Size: The Logo cannot be reduced or enlarged beyond what is electronically provided by WWSWd. Do not remove any trademark symbols or alter the Logo in any way. Redraws, distortions, or animation of the Logo are not permitted beyond what is provided.

Alterations to these Guidelines

WWSWd reserves the right to change the Logo and these Usage Guidelines at any time and solely at its discretion. WWSWd will do it's utmost to provide advance notice of these changes. The latest guidelines and information will always be on the Logo Program page of the WWSWd web site located at All Logo authorized sites will be notified by e-mail of any changes to this criteria. Permission to use the logo is limited to those who meet the then applicable criteria, and those who no longer meet the criteria must discontinue the use of the logo. Any use of the Logo that is not consistent with these guidelines is strictly prohibited.

Cancellation of Authorization to host Logo

WWSWd reserves the right to review use of the Logo. Disregard for these Usage Guidelines may result in a revocation of the right to use the Logo, and with it all benefits enjoyed through participation in the program.


Any site found to be improperly using the Logo or using any outdated or unapproved WWSWd Logo must correct any deficiencies in their use of the Logo upon reasonable notice in the form of a electronic written request to remove the logo in question and informed that if they wish to use the correct Logo the steps needed to be taken. They will be given a set time period to comply with this request. Refusal to correct such deficiencies may result in revocation of the right to use the Logo. Continued use may result in revocation of your Spirit of Scouting or some other equally catastrophic event ;-)
